Lightbulb Cruisers vs standard bikes

I remember way back when, long time ago, when the vertical twin cruisers enjoyed their own section of the forum, and life was grand. Nowadays the posts about America and Speedmaster are mashed in with the posts on the Bonnie, T100, Thruxton, and Scrambler - so you basically have to sort through posts on 6 different models.

The Tiger, however, essentially has three separate sections of it's own. Tell me, what gives?

I hope we have a separate sub-forum for the new Thunderbird!
What say you moderators?

I would like to see a separate thread for the cruisers including the America and Speedmaster. There are a lot of negative comments on the Twin Talk forums against the cruisers. I think a forum combining the current cruiser models would be great!

We tried having a separate forum for the cruiser twins, and it was a total flop - there was no activity on it, so the cruiser twins were merged back into "twins" overall.

I would love to see more posts from the cruiser owners. We have set up a dedicated "sticky" in twins for posting links to tech upgrades, tips and so on for the cruisers. It is up to the bike owners to really make an effort and post threads about these bikes, and get the ball rolling.

If you feel there are negative comments being made about the cruiser models, contact me or Haggis95 with a link to the post in question, and we'll look into it. I just had a scan around, and couldn't find any that might be causing you concern.

Prop is right, there is not enough activity with the cruiser crowd to maintain our own section.
It would make things easier when searching for answers, but the Speedmaster and America share enough of the same mechanical base that I have found many great ideas and answers in the Twins area.

Maybe we can all get off of our collective buts and start posting more relevant info for the cruisers, and someday have our own home.

???

What does the amount of activity have to do with "maintaining" a sub-forum?

OK, maintaining might be the wrong word.
But a sub-forum with no activity is a waste of space.
