Forum wierdness

I click on links in this site, (to go into a forum or maybe an attempt to post), and I just get just get ads and a blank page. I hit back or reclick the link several times (or refresh) and generally get it to work after a few tries. When posting and previewing you have to be careful not to back up too much, or you might loose your work.

First I thought it was my computer or browser (Linux + Firefox), but then went to my wife's computer (Vista + firefox) then tried (Visa + IE) and got the same behavior.

btw: when I tried to preview THIS post it gave me the empty page and an ad, so I am just going to the submit and hope for the best

Anyone else have this problem?
Any suggestions?

Yeah, I'm having precisely the same problem. I'm on XP using Firefox v.3.0.1. It takes a couple of refreshes usually to get me where I want to go. This wasn't happening earlier today, at approximately 4 p.m. EST, though.

Forum wierdness...

More info; I think is due to the ads that use flash

(for example the Triumph Ringtones ad is no problem)
The Ford/Sync ad causes problems every time, in my browser's error console when the page does not display I see "Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method Location.toString" so it is a matter of refreshing until you get a "good" ad; kind of like Russian roulette.

In general I can tolerate ads (we to pay for the forum some way), but in this case it's getting annoying... (exp when it's ad for an MP3 player for Ford on a bike forum, talk about missing your target audience!..

(getting off the soapbox and off to bed)

I've just started having trouble, FireFox offered me a new update and I've just loaded, now I can't access Trn, all my bookmarks don't work and it won't take a direct http link. I reverted to IE and I'm working OK.

HiDesert also said he's having trouble.

We're looking into it.

Hi,
Just a little information from a user. I'm getting exactly the same thing. It was a bit of a chore to even see the forums... just adverts unless I refresh a few times. This is not specific to Firefox version 3. I had version 2. something when I first noticed the trouble this morning. I was hoping Firefox 3 would help but the symptoms are the same after the update.

Thanks

Yes I think it's a co-incidence about FireFox, I had to delete FireFox on my PC entirely and then reloaded a new version 3.1 and it's now working perfectly.

Anyone else experiencing problems accessing this site with page refreshing ?
