Seems pretty normal to me Sweat' when it does load slowly I've generally had a clean-up with my Clean up program which cleans up temporary files and cookies, also if my ISP degrades my speed which I can check, it's normally around 2mb but they can drop it to 800kb/s unless I detect it, when they do that I have to reset the modem by powering on/off. I've never experienced the problem where it doesn't load atall.

Are you aware of this on FAQ.

Look at the final segment, Improving Performance:

I have the same problem from time to time, Sweat, even with Firefox instead of IE. It is intermittent, and sometimes the page switches time out. It does help to reboot if you get much of that. I've tried all the advice that I'm computer literate enough to try (and that isn't much!) and it is better, but not perfect. Just one of those things that I haven't figured out completely. I'm told it is my computer or the ISP and that well could be since even though I have cable internet it is not nearly as fast in fact as they say it is. But its faster than DSL around these sticks.

I have the same problems at times. I've narrowed it down to my anti virus program running a full scan in the background.

Sweat, have you checked out my Site Performance FAQ:

http://www.triumphrat.net/happenings...ce-issues.html

I'm at a hotel this evening, and the performance is slow. The building is either full, or their connection is horribly lagged.

The Perforamnce FAQ solves about 75% of the possible issues. If it doesn't help you, then PM your computer and ISP details to me and I'll be happy to help.
