mmm....shame cat resighned ,
this forum needs people like cat. But we all have lives to live in the real world.some times i don't go on this forum for maybe a month or two (lot's to do) espesialy in the summer . we all take for granted that things ain't gonna change.
As for the bike of the month comp, i never entered hoping to win anything more than other Triumph riders appreciation of what i have done to my bike. i realy hope it returns. i love seeing shots of peoples bike with their own beautifull part of the world as a back drop to their pic.
to me that's the joy of this global forum....

Here i stand foot in hand talking to my wall........im'm not quite right at all,...........am i.

Indeed. Such diatribes hardly warrant a response.

However, the BOTM competition will return in time. We had difficulty getting the interest in the competition, and it took a lot of work to drum up entries. Consequently it was not worth the effort to keep it going, and a break was natural with other changes happening in the forum at the time.

However in time we will have it back.

Before he did it, I'd have said it couldn't be done.

Wasn't it an "Officially Sponsored" competition? Someone with more cred than I should start one up. So what if the voting isn't accurate or fair. Most county's run on rigged elections.

Yes for a time we had sponsors, which was great, but as I said we spent a lot of time going around trying to drum up entries to the competitions. When the populace at large isn't all that interested in the competition, there isn't a lot of point doing it. We decided to have a break from it for a bit, so hopefully when we start it up again there will be renewed interest.

Before he did it, I'd have said it couldn't be done.
