It's not hard to get your post count up. You don't have to post rubbish and nonsense. Just join in, post your thoughts, contribute a bit. Otherwise, to be honest, we don't want to sell to you anyway!

Fine, now you've heard someone with over 25 posts complain about it. I
hate this type of rule. It makes it significantly more difficult for new members to become "long term contributing members", because it pisses them off and forces them to look elsewhere if they're looking for something quickly. If I can buy it somewhere else now, why would I bother waiting and exerting effort to buy it here and "help" a forum that's certainly not helping me, and is asking me to "contribute".
Maybe it isn't hard for you to get 25 posts, you seem like you get at least 25 a week. It took me a while to get 25 posts, and I'm sure most of my first 25 were, in fact, rubbish. You claim this rule is to benefit "long term"' members and annoy the few...but if I come on here and post 25 times just cluttering crap up, I bet it annoys people as well. Sure, I bought a Sprint and I've been here for a couple years now.....but I didn't help out a "long term" member from the forum by buying a used one from here....because I couldn't freaking see them!!!!! So, hey, I went and gave someone else a few thousand dollars. I see that worked out very well to benefit the members here.
But before buying the bike, I had nothing to contribute except rubbish....and if I can't buy a bike, then I can't do any mods, or help answer anyone else's questions when they have issues, or provide an opinion when people ask what's good/bad about the bike, or do anything which could be considered remotely close to "contributing", all I can do is post rubbish.
I joined and was basically inactive on here for a year while I looked elsewhere for a bike, since this site was useless in my search. Sure, since I bought the bike I've posted a few threads, and bought a few things in the classifieds, but my most significant investment didn't go to a forum member.
Also, this wasn't the case with the bike, since I paid cash for it and that was a sizable amount, so I didn't have a lot to throw around immediately following my purchase, but typically after buying something, I start buying parts/accessories for it. Even had I not joined here until after purchasing my bike, I'd still be stuck puttering around here a while before being able to start looking for any accessories/gear....and I lack the patience for that, so I go buy elsewhere, again, giving my money to someone other than a "long term contributing member" of the forum.
This forum was the first time I've run across it, but I've noticed a lot of forums for various things going to this recently, and, coincidentally, most of them are running the vBadvanced software.
Alright, my rant is over, I feel better now
