*** Happened to the Classifieds?

Call me a douche (I'm used to it) but where are the effing classifieds? It used to be if I was looking to buy or sell something for my speedy it was easy to find. Now all I get is a forum telling me the rules but NO ACTUAL FORUM for buying or selling stuff!

Please help out a douche. Where are the classifieds?!

There are about 20 sub-forums in the overall Classifieds Section - http://www.triumphrat.net/classified...price-and-pic/

Specifically for Speed Triple parts - http://www.triumphrat.net/for-sale-parts-supersports/

Try using the master forum index in future - http://www.triumphrat.net/forum.php - and scroll to find what you're looking for.

Check the rules regarding the minimum post requirement to access the section.

I can't see them either. I gotta say, I have been on motorcycle forums for 10 years and I have never in my life seen a rule that states you have to make 25 posts and be a member for a month before you can even view the classified ads. It makes sense if you want to place an ad, but a lot of us come to this forum because we are interested in purchasing a Triumph and want to see what's for sale. Instead we have to hang around for a month, make a bunch of meaningless posts, then we can finally see what's for sale?

This doesn't do any favors for your sellers at all, who are basically just going to be advertising their Triumphs to fellow owners.

Yes neither do I understand this rule.

I would agree with the minimum post count to post threads, this would discourage fraud. But why the min. 25 posts and 1 month membership just to see the ads? Don't get it.

Wow. I get that participating members are good, and I appreciate a system to help keep people participating, but I've been on here since 2010 and just haven't foud the need to post very often. When I tried to have a discussion about my experience with the engine grounding out before the peg feeler on my S3 I mostly got a bunch of hate posts telling me I needed to learn to ride better. Not exactly the sort of thing that encourages me to be an active member of the community.

Also, I rarely find it necessary to post any questions, since most of them have been answered in the past and a simple search usually reveals answers--so why would I bother asking it again?
