Angry &%*? Ducati adverts!

guys, admin,

Every time that Ducati monster ad' comes up on a thread page, it blocks the following posts. I have to continually refresh the page until the Ducati 'team' shot comes up instead, when the rest of the posts become visible. This is doing my head in.

It's just about bearable on my Mac and iPhone at home, though very irritating. But the computer at work, which I have to endure for two weeks at a time, it's almost impossible. It's about as fast as a weekend in jail, nearly as bad as dial-up, so the triumphrat pages take forever to appear because of all those pesky ad's.

OK. I think I understand that ad's are a necessary evil, but is there a special member's subscription you can get which means you don't have to endure them? I know there are more important things to worry about, but I come in here to read what people have to say on the forums.

Same thing keeps happening with me too, I was wondering what was causing it. It's driving me nuts.

Perhaps a broadband issue - just too slow? Not a problem for me with ordinary BT 8mb.

You upgrade to an account with less ads - I have not done it - too tight.

Use Firefox as your browser. I have no issues like that.

Yes, you can fix this JohnyC. From the FAQ:
Quote:
The premium member costs $15 per annum and for this you will receive larger avatar, more private message space and bigger gallery space, as well as an option to remove most of the ads.

The lifetime membership is only $40 and this would cover you for life with everything that comes with premium membership.

Is already been mentioned -- I had the same aggro months ago.

Firefox, if it works on a Mac, is the way to go. You can get an add on to block ads. I know it works like a champ on my computers.

Why Ducati adverts on this site? Don't they know we all ride Triumph? Besides Ducati's whilst pretty are expensive and rot away before your eyes. Wouldn't touch one.

I touched a ducati once. The shop assistant told me to bugger off though.
