Why is Triumphs riding gear so expensive against the same and better quality rivals.I was already to buy a jacket when I got the scrambler but was knocked back at the price just to have triumph onto so I purchased a better make jacket for just over half the price of the dealers.

Yep, I agree, its good quality gear, but you seem to be paying now for a fashion statement instead.
I bought Hein Gericke leather jacket and pants (black) for less than the price of a Triumph leather jacket and Frank Thomas Titanium all weather jacket and pants for about 1/3 the price of a Triumph equivalent.

I did buy some Triumph gloves with a 10% off voucher and they're pretty good.

It would be interesting to see how may new owners have commented on the clothing issue when contacted by triumph customer service email.

Never had a customer service email from Triumph, but just had one advertising clothes and gifts for Fathers day. My two wouldnt dig that deep for me lol

I was under the impression that all new customers of triumph would get an email questionaire.
