Anyone have the new sympatex riding pants? How do you like them? Are they comfortable enough to wear alone or do you need pants underneath?Thanks

They're in the Triumph clothing catalog (so Triumph brand). I was also wondering if anyone has them or has at least seen them in person. Or, at the very least, knows if there's a removable inner liner involved or if the outside fabric is itself waterproof. And also how large/well-designed the vents are. And to repeat Super3's question, are they meant as overpants or to be worn alone?

The pants have a removable liner for warmth. I believe the outer fabric is waterproof. no belt loops, so they'd better fit right. I'm going to try on a pair on saturday. I'll try to report my findings.

I tried on 2 sizes of the pants but neither fit perfectly which they should for 280 bucks. So I didn't buy them but I sure wanted to. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't because they were bulkier than I had hoped and I could tell they would be hot on a warm day. Probably great for spring and fall but I'm looking for summer wear. Too bad, they looked cool.
