Triumph clothing

Hi All

I got some Triumph Tornado Jeans off of eBay. Size 38 as i fit a size 36 Jean and wanted them a bit baggy. But when I got them I could just get them past my knees, they must be more like a 34". Is it normal for Triumph clothing to be on the small side?

So, I have sold them now but need to get some more. I want something cool for the summer. Are the Triumph Raptor Jeans good for the summer? If so, are these also a tighter than you would expect?

I would go down to my dealer but none of my locals have any stock.

Thanks

Mike

If you're American you may be in for a bit of a shock: clothing companies have been selling larger clothes as smaller sizes in order to make US consumers feel better about being fat. Often, a 32 US will be a 33 or 34 in Canada or Europe. Of course, being from Canada a large portion of our stuff comes from the US and therefore we never know what size we are...

Speaking from a UK female perspective - Yes Triumph clothing is on the small side. The only thing I have found which was the same size that I would be in a reputable clothing outlet was the Triumph boots.

The boots however still had the problem that they were advertised as female boots but were obviously manufactured on a male last. Consequently they are way to wide. I do wear them with chunky socks but they look to clompy for what I wanted which was to wear motorcycle boots as a fashion accessory thereby being able to wear them at work but still look smart.

Overall conclusion. I don't think I would buy more than a Triumph t-shirt unless I could try it on.

Perhaps I should also add another gripe. I bought gloves and the seam separated in less than a year and 6000 miles of riding. Quality was not great.

I would rather buy clothing from a retailer. And I got an email from Triumph telling me to rush into my local dealer and see the new range and get a free mug.

Funny thing is, all 4 of my local Triumph dealers hardly have any of the range and only 1 or 2 sizes of the items they do have. It's really frustrating trying to buy Triumph gear at a shop. And that forces people to buy from the net which can't be good for their business.

Oh Well, Rev-it clothing here I come!

Clothing size

The nutritional achievements of U.S. and Canada have produced taller and more robust/muscular people and now Europe and to some extent Asia are experiencing the same change.
