When you say true to size, are they slightly large or small? They look nice and simple.

pretty true to size

I am 33" x 32" levi Jean, the 34" leathers fit a tad tight but good, just long enough, no hemming needed, I am 5 ' 10" I figure if you are an even jean size and you go up one size you should be set ie 34" = 36", the lengths are a concern if you 6'+

Got the TopGear pants today...they're pretty nice! Good quality thick but soft leather, fit good, well made - especially for the price. No riding yet, it's pouring and I mean pouring down rain all day today

I've been a fan of chaps for the warm they provide and abrasion resistance. But since our accident last month it became clear they don't provide the protection armor or padding does. And based on the nasty bruise I got on my hip, and my wife on her knee, we want pants with padding and/or armor.

There are SO many choices it's confusing. The Draggin Jeans with optional knee armor look good but no hip protection. And my hip is a bone I do not want broken. What to do?
