Leather W/O Mad Max Look

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of leather pants that don't have the tight cuffs of track pants? I was hoping for an over the boot fit with CE pads in the impact zones. I'm a new rider and want to error on the side of protection but would prefer something that doesn't make me look like the Road Warrior. I have a Triumph Hawk jacket so if I can find something that zips to the jacket that would be even better.

Thanks!

Try the Tourmaster Decker pants. Race look to the knees, then chap style calf area. I took the matching 1/2 of the jacket zipper and had a leather/shoe shop sew it to the pants (the Toumaster pants have a full wrap around zipper that matches there jackets). I don't use the hip pads though (they are not CE anyhow). Worked well a year ago when I fell down on the #%^#$%$ mag chloride. Don't carry anything in your pockets though. That hurts to fall on.

Thanks Mojoinco! I was thinking of these or maybe the Havoc Pants by Shift. I can't seem to find anyone who carries either of these locally. I'm using the BMW city pants right now and like them but it seems like leather would offer better protection. Anyone "tested" the city pants? I'm a new rider and want to be as safe as I can (and prepare for the worst).

Thanks!

I've been looking for much the same thing myself. Good luck getting any info. on Shift products. Never seen a company with less info on their products. I even called the CS # asking for addtl info on textile material weight and construction and been waiting for days for a call back. Their Woody leather/textile pants look ideal for my use in SUMOTO. For the ultimate in abraision protection I read a review of a US company on webbikeworld that makes custom kevlar pants. They run about $400 but are lighter, cooler and offer as good if not better protection than leather. Add some impact shorts and you'd have about the best protection money can buy.

I can deal with the mad max look I just don't want to look like I belong in the Village People.
