A Tale of Two Jackets

I wanted to do a product review on the two jackets I recently bought, but I can't break the code for that forum. Anyhow, I'd like to make recommendations for those discerning consumers who are interested. I recently purchased a Triumph Rivton jacket for myself on a whim as a self-birthday present. It's very cool! Apparently, it's too cool for me according to my wife, who felt I was too old for such a flashy jacket. I was able to sell it to another rat.net member who probably looks a lot better in it. It is well built and very good quality and I recommend it.

I then purchased a Montana jacket from British Motorcycle Gear Company. This is the company who now makes Belstaff stuff, I believe. It's a little more money, but Wow! It is top notch. Very well made and classy in a biker kind of way. This could be my most favorite piece of motorcycle gear for all time. Great customer service and fast delivery. If you've ever considered either of these, go for it. You can't go wrong.

Finally, I too purchased a Triumph Rivton jacket for myself after starring at it every time I went into the dealer for the past year. I love it and also believe it is sooooooo cool. Made a point to go from a 42 waist to a 38 so I would almost look as good as the skinny dude in the add Oh by the way I am 68 and my wife thinks it looks great. Most comfortable jacket I own and use for riding. Makes the Harley riders I hang around with jealous

Got a Rivton jacket for my birthday as well and love it. Great fit and comfort and appears to have all the protection. Thumbs up all the way around.
