textile pants for a shorty

well not exactly a shorty but short inseam - long torso
anywho most pants are 30 inch inseam and so the knees are at my ancles
any suggestions short of custom made?

FirstGear makes a few different pants in short sizes. I've had really good luck with their gear (I take tall sizes, and they're one of the few to offer those, too).

Got a pair of Tour Master textile pants that come in short with adjustable knee armor, nice feature.

I believe Olympia also has adjustable knee armour.

I had the First Gear Mesh-tex shorties & didn't like them...they are riding pants & not overpants...you're basically in yer underwear, or maybe a swimsuit, at best adventure shorts.

I changed to Joe Rocket Phoenix shorties and they are much more practical from my perspective, as they can be worn as overpants (or not).
