Clement Wrote an evaluation on one in Rider Magazine. Looked pretty good. Anybody have one? Just wanted a non paid opinion from somebody that bought theirs instead of gettin a freebie to do a write up. How does it work in the heat, rain, cold, ect. What did you pay for it? Retail or discount?

I bought one at the end of the season last year and only got to wear it on a ride once. Felt very good. A little stiff, but thats to be expected when new. I got mine with a 20% discount (end of year stuff). Can't wait to get out this year and really test it. I'm thinking about getting the matching pants too.Pretty pricey though.

Is the outer fabric waterproof or is there a zip-in liner? How are the vents at flowing air? Is the sizing comparable with other jackets you wear (or does it run small/large)?

I got mine 2nd hand off Ebay from a nut converting to Hardly Davidson. Paid $160 plus $20 to ship. Awesome jacket. Is waterproof. Removable plastic armor plating in shoulders, elbows and back. Warm as toast riding in 35-40*F temp with vents closed. Subtle logos and piping extremely reflective for night riding. Zip out lining. Softer & lighter than good leather. Normal sizing but try it on first. Than buy it. Now. Right now.

Do you need to zip-in a liner to make it water/wind proof? Is there a thermal liner too? Would it feel comfy at 80-90 degrees in the summer with the vents open?

I had mine on the other day, 70 degrees, slightly humid, the jacket felt good but a little clammy. Vents didn't do much, but I really wasn't thinking about it. It is a quality piece of gear, but the search for the perfect jacket goes on. I like the look and feel of the Olympia Air Glide stuff so that may be next. If you're looking for a jacket to keep wind and rain off, the sympatex is a good choice.

Took another ride with the sympatex jacket today, vents work better with no sweatshirt on underneath----DUH!
