My Darien was not my favorite in hot & dry. But was my best friend in cold & wet.

Talking

Bought the tourmaster the otherday. Went to KC sat to look at motorcycle closeout stuff, and glad I wore the mesh even though there was a chance of rain here in Ark, it was a toasty 90° up there. Now to find the right pants.
Thanks for the input everybody.

For fruzzy weather I wear an Arlen Ness "All Weather" Cordura heavily armoured jacket which has a zip out thermal liner.

100% water proof and very toasty.

So far the Tornado II Triumph jacket I have has been warm and dry..
The price, at $200 bucks sold me....

I commute to work with it 47 miles each way and have not once felt cold or wet when caught in the rain.

Very warm jacket when it is warm out - no vents at all but I got it for the colder -rainy day stuff anyway....

Thumbs up

I'm shocked no one mentioned Belstaff gear. It's the best jacket I've ever had. Very warm with the liner, not that bad in hot weather without the liner, and always 100% waterproof.
I've used mine in 100 degree, 98percent humidity summers, and 30 degree winters here in Ohio. They also offer a nice overpant that goes well with the jacket.
And who knows waterproof better than the Brits?

I have the fieldsheer adventure jacket and pants.

the jacket is awesome. not fully water proof as mentioned.
(the only thing that is fully water proof is made of rubber IMHO.)
the jacket is well constructed has great reflective striping. removable thick winter liner. neck guard. plenty of pockets. and vents for the summer. fully armored.

the fieldsheer adventure pants are absolute garbage. every zipper snags the lining when you zip or unzip. the first time I pulled the crotch zipper up it snagged the lining and when I carefully tried to unzip it it pulled out the entire zipper as it wasnt sewn in far enough into the pants. they have no vents like the jacket.

again the pants: crap avoid it like the plague.

I'll give the Tourmaster/Cortech a big thumbs up. I have a set of the 3/4 jacket and pants that have about 3 years and 20,000 miles on them, and they have never been anything but very good, in all kinds of weather. Zero complaints with them.

I've got a spidi step-in-road jacket, full armor including back protector, water-proof, windproof, breathable, zip out liner. Its textile and leather, and real high quality.

With the liner removed I've been using it during the summer.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I have a Joe Rocket Alter Ego, and an electric jacket from www.warmnsafe.com best few hundred dollars ever spent. Just dial in the desired amount of heat and ride.

I actually use the Tourmaster Jett jacket the original poster was asking about. I use it all the time around here in Seattle. I ride everyday, rain or shine, and have used that jacket this week riding around in the rain at 38 degrees, and never got wet or cold. Just a great jacket for the money.
