Who out there has experience with it? I've been looking at getting some and was looking for more input on it.

I do have a couple of friends who have some and swear by it.

It's very nice kit, good for both warm and cool weather. Also looks very nice. Lots of BMW guys wear this stuff, and it's probably more popular in Europe than in the States. But be prepared to pay a serious price for it.

I'm tried of dealing with leather, it doesn't dry well, and putting on rain gear over it is a huge pain. In addition very hot and heavy. I'm looking for gear that is easier to deal with on the road for long trips through varied weather.

Wink Report on the gear

Just thought I'd give ya all an update.

I did go out and buy the Rukka gear, and for the 5 1,000 mile trips that I've done so far it has been worth the money. I've been in almost every type of weather, short of snow, that you could think of and it was comfortable and dry. I stayed drier then I did with any of my other rain gear. It was great to not have to stop and change by the side of the road. Just kept going and tightened up the collar. Even the hail that I rode in did sting quite as much as it did with my mesh and rain gear.

I really am amazed at the comfort range for temperatures. Being in the high desert we do get some extremes here. The only down fall to it is when the temps get over 95 degrees F. The version that I have doesn't have any vents so it is just too warm for hotter temps. It is do able with an evaporative vest on, but still not as cool as mesh. No, surprise really. The cool black coating works great, on the cool mornings in the mountains, I wished that it didn't work so well, it would have been nice to have the sun warm me up a bit, but I didn't need to put the liner in, just a long sleeve T shirt rather then a tank top. and it was perfect.

I'm not able to give any kind of crash report on the gear, and hopefully won't ever.

I can.
I crashed in my Rukka suit and it stood up better than I did, I broke 3 ribs and collar bone. The aero mesh armour works well. I had some bruising around the edge of the armour on my hip but none under it. The cordura had scuffs on it and a seam on the top of the shoulder was slightly torn. That was where I hit hardest.
The good news is that Rukka can repair most things. For £180 I've got a nearly new jacket with new panels in the front left, the whole rear and a new hip pocket. Included in that price was a new lining in the trouser, which was ripped before the accident.
Bloody good kit, if a little pricey to start with.

Yup, but I'm over the sticker shock now. The more I use this stuff the more I'm likin' it.

Rode this weekend with a number of guys in leathers, it was hot in area, cold and wet in others. They complained like little old women about it while stopped for lunch. Me, didn't really notice any of the temp changes.
