I've been wondering if anyone here has an off the rack one piece suit? The stores around me don't have any big sizes in stock and the online stores just give specs that sound as though they may work, but not sure. I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs. Didn't want to spend over $800 and am sure a custom one would be over that.

good luck. i'm 6'1" and about 170lbs. even at my size I have to have suits altered to fit. i've got a Kobe suit that I used for racing and now track days. I had to have a lady out near six flags (ann turner) add about 2" to the legs to get the armor/knee pucks closer to where they need to be.

if you want to get a good value one piece suit that doesn't break the bank, google Barnacle Bills (he's in KY) or Syed leathers. I know a lot of the WERA guys use BB's suits. he's not too far away so a trip to his place to get fitted might be good or see if he's coming down here any time soon. he usually is at the WERA GNF (big race at Road Atlanta t the end of the year) so that's where I usually send friends to get fitted.
