Does Anyone Own a Rukka Jacket and/or Pants?
Hey there, everyone!
I'm hoping that some of you can provide some feedback regarding Rukka products, based on first-hand experience.
I live in New England USA, so we get every kind of weather imaginable (you know... days that start at 20 degrees Fahrenheit, reach 90 degrees, and turn to cold driving rain into the evening).
I've spent a small fortune on jackets and none of them do everything well. I've got a Fox Creek Leather Bomber jacket, for which I added full Knox Armor. I've got a BMG Zodiac jacket (pretty good when its hot, but no insulation or rain protection). Lastly, I also own a Rev'it Dragon (nice temperature range, except on the very extremes, but it's got an insulation liner AND a rain liner -- which gets a bit bulky and is a MAJOR hassle to switch back and forth on the run).
I've heard that Rukka gear is great and handles a wide degree of temperature ranges and rain, without all the hassles. In fact, it sounds almost too good to be true. (I realize its insanely expensive, but if it works, is well made and will last - then I've gotta weigh that against buying another closet full of stuff that leaves me wondering in the morning whether I'm properly prepared for a full day of riding.)
Is asking for one set of gear that can handle any type of weather sheer fantasy?
Any experiences and comments that you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
