I have a friend who has a pair of black leathers with some asphalt rush on them. He went down at low speed wearing them. There are no significant damage or holes. He wants to sell em to me. I think I'll buy em. Any tips as to how get the color back on to the scratched spots ?

See your local shoe repair. They usually have something that is a mix of dye and wax, similar to what is used to refurbish purses and bags. Won't wear off on clothing (or MC seat) like shoe polish will.
