Where for art thou Romero?

Pardon the dumb title but I've been burning a hole through my mouse pad looking for a US 40 Romero jacket. Seems they stopped production a couple of years ago. Any chance anyone has one collecting dust in a closet? Given the retro look, I don't mind minor wear or road rash.

I recently upgraded my ride and now have to switch out the gear to errr... match. You know how it is.

Romero jacket

Pure Triumph in Ft.Lauderdale still has them listed
on their website. Don't know if it's old info. but might
be worth a call.
Good luck.

Don`t know if you are still looking, but these are being sold for silly money in the UK. I bought one about a year ago for £75 and thought I had a bargain. At the BMF rally last month I saw them for £50!!
Look on the UK ebay pages as there are usually a few on there.

Mark - Thanks for the tip however I have since purchased one. My efforts included having to call the UK supplier to the US and list out the last deliveries the sent out. I then had to literally call several dealers here in the US and plead with them to look in their old-stock inventory and even go out to storage. After much persuation, I finally got my jacket but did have to shell quite a bit of my hard earned goods.

Since I'm on here, does anyone have tricks to softening this up? I suppose it's been stored for a bit and now the leather is a s stiff as my six-pack abs!

romero jacket

I/ve had one since before i bought my latest bike. Just wear it and it'll be fine. Ride through some damp weather.
My old vanson has taken ten years to properly soften up, now I don't wear it as the romero has CE.

How much did you purchase the jacket for? I've been looking around ebay.co.uk and most of them were for over 100 GBP . How does the sizing fit compared to other jackets?
