had a textile leather fieldsheer jacket, and a pair of pants from them. Decent quality for the price. Not the best, not the worst. Equivalent quality to your A* stuff.
the armor was fine, and seemed to cover your elbows and part of the outside of the forearm. Seemed to be built a bit slim in the waist, but it was a while ago, and not that model (so for fitment - can't comment by experience). Quality, again, was decent enough.
That jacket also appears to have fabric for parts of the arms, which will flow air as well.
I always liked the tourmaster perf leather stuff as well - had one of their jackets. Decent enough. Had to restitch one zipper for the arm, but other than that, it was a good jacket.
