Joe Rocket gear

Hey all,
I am looking at the Joe Rocket alter ego pants and jacket.
Looks impressive for riding as it is weather proof.
I already have a Triumph Leather and I am looking for something to wear on a trip.
Anyone have any comments on this equipment ?

My father wears those pants and jacket and he swears by them. I've borrowed the pants for a long distance trip that had a rainy forecast (hadn't treated my leathers pants yet) and they were pretty comfortable. Didn't end up seeing much rain buy I know he claims they're pretty waterproof. DefinItely more comfortable than my track pants though! I know the price is pretty reasonable too..

hope SOME of that helps!

Thanks for the input.
My local Triumph dealer has them and I have been waiting for a sale to hit.

I've bought some Joe Rocket gear through New Enough.

http://www.newenough.com

Mesh Phoenix jacket is very nice in warm weather, has a removable liner that keeps a rider reasonably warm and dry - but it's no substitute for a cold weather jacket when the temps dip!

I forget the name of the Joe Rocket textile riding trousers I got - but they're very nice. Heavy duty material. Waterproof. Warm removable lining. Knee and hip protection pads too. And the trousers & jacket zip together for a pretty decent riding suit for most conditions. Very comfortable.

New Enough has good prices most of the time, and some very good prices on their clearance sales. Quick with their shipping too.

Just FYI.

Sounds like the Ballistic 7.0 pants. I have those too. They're pretty comfortable except that I had a heck of a time getting the knee armor to feel right. My knee caps kept pushing against them causing soreness. I finally settled on the lower pocket and I wear the pants low on the hips. This seems to put the armor in the right spot for me. I also have the Phoenix mesh jacket.

I have the pant and the jacket. I love them...you'll be ready for just about anything. The pants don't break down to as much mesh as the jacket...so if it's hot out you're going notice.
