While I like to be properly geared up, I'm also into the look thing, especially when the bike garners admiring gazes from hot women on the sidewalks (no kidding - they just can't see my ugly mug behind the faceshield). My female friends kid me I'm a bigger clothes whore than them.

And since we're sitting astride a classic Brit bike, why not look as cool as the bike?


The Triumph Stockton Leather jacket is great - both in looks, comfort, and safety.



I also just ordered the Triumph Holborn Tri-Tex jeans - again, cargo/retro look complete with knee pads - plus it zips into the jacket.

I like Ashman boots which can be found on ebay. They are inexpensive and often seem to be sold unworn deadstock made in the UK. I just sold a pair myself. Bates Leathers and Gasolina are suitable for a modern classic as well I think.

The jacket I like to wear most is my REV'IT Hawk. It definitely has a retro look with its contrasting zippers. The Hawk has their uprated Pro-life armor at the elbows and shoulders as well as back protection. I love the quilted detail on the lower back. A little pricey at $549.
