Back tires slipping/sliding/wobble in turns

I bought new 2008 Bonnie T100 about month ago.

Entering a turn, the road signs have it posted to take it at 40, I'll smooth in at 45-50 not downshifting and slowly throttle out of the apex. That's when the tire will slip/slide around the apex and wobble a bit after right before I straighten up. At first I thought it was because the patch I just rode over had a little sand on it and shrugged it off, but it persisted later on the day. It left me feeling a little nervous. I checked the tire pressure when I got a station and it read 42 psi, just what the tires said.

A recent curious thought, I'm over 700 miles now and have yet to go in for the 600 break in maintenance - I do plan to get this done, this coming Saturday hopefully. Could it be that?

Something doesn’t sound right at all. Check for something being loose back there (wheel, suspension, swingarm…?), or have the dealer check it out when you take it in for the work (maybe they were hungover when they unboxed it and missed something ).

I agree with SkiTTles there, something is not right, I'd check it out immediately, I'd raise the rear wheel off the ground and check out if there is any side-ways play in the rear wheel or the suspension. Spin your wheel and note if the tyre is on correctly. I'd also take it into the dealer asap even if you don't find anything and have them check it out. The Bonnie is one of the safest and easiest bikes to ride, what you are experiencing is not the norm.

Keep us posted on the problem.

Everyone is right, check the mechanicals first. But you also might be accelerating too hard coming out of the corner causing the rear wheel to start breaking loose. When you fully straighten you regain traction.

Just an idea, watch your exit speed and see if that helps.

If you have ruled out anything loose try checking the for any abnormalities unevenness. Possible defect of sorts like a displacement. Beings it is only on the turns when you straighten up I would not think it is the tire balance unless you just did not notice it as much.
