new bonneville create's fireworks

i've just bought a bonneville black 2006.
I use it everyday to go to work.. .summer / winter dry rain, whathever, even when it's icy outside! (but the i only take the big roads where there is enough salt on the roads to prevent slipping) but even then it's always tricky to ride!...

a few weeks a go i went home, already dark but dry cold wheather (3°C or so) i started my bonnie, rode of the pavement, took the first turn to drive onto the streets and BAM the bike tipped over i tried to old on to it but... there was the fireworks in the middle of the street!

damn... i totally thought that my bike was totall loss but i've managed to put it aside, broken lever of the gear box, some minor scratches on the exhaust pfff verry lucky me

went directly to the dealer and luckly he had the spare part in stock...

so now ... looking to put some engine guards on the bike ...
you never know.....

i think i'll put the originial thriumph engine guards on the bike , or does anyone has experience with other brands?

I don't know for sure but, just to be on the safe side, I would do some research on how the guards mount.

Replacing/ refurbing an engine casing & ancilliaries may be a lot cheaper than replacing or rejigging & straightening a frame.

It just depends on how strong the frame is around the mount area, & how strong the crashbar is.

Renntec Engine Guards

I have the Renntec engine guards on my Bonnie T100. I liked them better than the Triumph ones, they seem to wrap the engine better without sticking out too much.
