Southern Arizona Ride - Parker Canyon Lake
This Sunday, May 18th, the Tucson RATs will be having a picnic at Parker Canyon Lake. We're meeting at Corona de Tucson - Houghton and Sahuarita Roads - at 10:00 and heading south through Sonoita to the lake. It's above 4000' at the lake so it should be nice and cool. The road to the lake is paved all the way, it remends me of the country lanes in the UK, with javalinas instead of hedgehogs! And plenty of Border Patrol.....For the adventurous there is a return route on dirt through the Coronado Monument to Sierra Vista.
