Minuteman 1000 Iron Butt
Hi, I am considering this Iron Butt run in early June sponsored by Northeast LD Riders and Yankee Beemers. The 24hr run starts and ends in Northampton, MA and is IBA certified. I think it runs through five states. Have any of you done this SS1000 before with this group? I would appreciate any info, prior experiences, knowledge of these sponsors, etc...
You ride your own ride but I like that there will be a group on the run vs. totally solo. The comraderie should help the mental attitude.
I am an experienced rider but this would be my first Iron Butt run. I was thinking of taking the Scrambler with some possible mods most notably lights and a small windscreen, seat.
