Hi all,

I live in Manhattan and I think I know all the good, twisty roads around NYC, i.e. upstate NY, NJ, CT, MA, NH, PA and more! I have ridden quite a lot these last two years! (also Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC, tail of the Dragon, SoCal..)

I usually ride with a good friend who has a KTM SuperDuke in the US.

We're both French, avid road carvers.

The more we ride, the more we want to ride... new roads, everywhere they twist and turn.

Long story short, my friend and I are trying to start a sport touring motorcycle club (based in New York and Paris) that emphasizes the "sport" in sport touring.

More than the sempiternal day rides in your area, necessarily condemned to redundancy after a while, we want to organize local weekend (2/3 day) rides and also week long trips to Western US, Southern Europe, New Zealand/Aussie and everywhere we can rent the "right" bikes (not Harley's...) on the right spots (twisting and scenic roads please!).

This year, we'd like to start by going to Northern California and to Spain (Catalonia region + Pyrenees Mountains on Daytona 675's!).

We will soon have a website with details of the trips and everything. If you don't live in the New York or Paris areas, but if you can arrange your own transportation, you are more than welcome to join those trips!

I often see motorcycle clubs, but unlike ski clubs, I never see them offering trips to their members. It's about time this mistake be corrected!

So is anyone interested in joining the club? It will be free, and it will just fight for group rates and great new roads for its members! The more the merrier, so let's go ride some new shining roads!
