Hi all...........never really get in here much, spend most of my time in the Daytona area.Has anyone ever taken in the Sport Bike rally in Parry Sound , Ontario.? Apparently they shut down the entire town ( small town ) and even the local police get into it .They seem to have a good turn out. Just looking to see if anyone has gone and what they thought of it

I went up one year for the afternoon. I had higher hopes for it, actually. I was a bit let down.... There were a few dealers there and someone brought a dyno, but overall I felt like is was just a bunch of guys on sportbikes (I was going to type kids, but don't feel I'm ready to make that distiction) cruising around and a bunch of cops getting increasingly uptight.

I had lunch, looked at some new Yamaha's, watched the dyno for a few mins and left.

By the way, I read on another M/C forum that it is back on for '08....

I went about 10 yrs ago. Had a good time in a beautiful area but wasn't impressed with the roads lots of frost heaves. I do remember stopping at the Canadian Ballet, now that was something to behold.
