Central Iowa???
I'm just waitin' on spring like so many other of my latitude challenged 2-wheeled brothers and was wondering if there are any good Trump rides/bikenights in Central Iowa.
My cube neighbor rides a StreetGlide, and we go on rides with the local Harley shop. Not that I'm complaining, but there are always the "When are you gonna get a real bike?" comments, and with the exception of one cool Brit weekend a year at the "The Triumph Mecca" of Baxter Cycles in Marne, IA, there are no other Britcentric rides/groups around.
P.S. my exhaust note is cooler than his.
thanks, -Matt

I think it was the waterloo rat pack that had a wonderful scenic ride ride last year. It went from cedarfalls/waterloo area on over to the east side up the river a ways. Some of us sportbike guys went on into wisconsin.I do not know if they will have that leaf ride again, but it was great fun.
I think Struthers has a Ratpack. I know they do have several rides that are organized for dinner events to various locations that welcome all makes (even Hardley's).
edit:nice weather today huh?...I'm just North of ames

Not as far as it sounds
Just a little ways into Wisconsin every July is the BBC rally. That's a howlin' good time.
Last year $40 for a weekend of camping, a meal one night, OK here's the kicker: live music Friday and Saturday and ALL THE BEER YOU WANT! What more could you want in a get together?
BBC stands for British Bike Cooperative but there were some non Brit there as well. One other good thing about this one for the midwesterner is that it's in the "driftless area" of Wisconsin which is where the glaciers did not go so there are way better roads than anywhere with a couple hundred miles. Not quite mountains but very nice riding.
It's in Eagle Cave near Muscoda. Think about it.

Yeah, just a taste of spring on Monday.
Thanks for the Waterloo info, I do have some family up that way. It also sounds like the Weber Cycle guys attend the BBC and other events in Wisconsin, which from my house is only 250 miles.
Thanks guys.

I've taken my tona over to wisconsin a couple of times..there are some great roads there. I always come back wanting more. The scenery is outstanding as well. It does get very touristy towards fall, but when you get out of the towns, it is smooth sailing.

That BBC rally sound cool. Is it the same date or weekend every year? I'd like to make the trip this summer if it works with my schedule.
