She is of the same opinion. I guess if y'all insist I will let her bake the pies.

Once spring fever hits, we'll ramp up the hype to get as many Triumph riders to show up as possible. So if you've been waivering, just do it! Join in and meet many of your fellow RAT members.

Robin (bonniegirl), Mark (markbvt) and Tito (tonup) and others have been planning some great rides and events (and pies!). So don't miss this chance. It may not happen again like this. Just think of a large parking lot with tons of Triumphs to look at. And yours among them!

Go for it! Friday, May 30th through Sunday, June 1st. Be there.

On a side note to what Whisper just said - if you are one of those people who are on the fence may I suggest that while you are sitting there you make lodging reservations NOW! The lodging is already tight and the longer you wait the harder it will be to find a room. If you make a reservation now they will just hold it against your credit card - they will not charge that card until you check in. This is standard policy with all hotels / motels. If you decide that you are not going you can cancel your reservation within 48 hours (that's 2 days prior to the event) without getting a single penalty! So I ask you people out there - why wouldn't you at least make a reservation now locking in a place to stay and if it doesn't work out and you cannot attend you simply cancel within 48 hours. Furthermore, if you have that reservation and you do not attend by that time I'm sure w can find many people who would love to take it off your hands!

Late joining the party here.....so is this an "any" bike event? I have a friend who is interested but he rides a "classic" Connie? He is a true sport tourer type.

Regardless count me and my Sprint in. If the hotel fills are there alternates nearby?

Is it May yet?

I am truely looking forward to meeting up with you all again.
I am sure I have met most of you at MEME or maybe the Raid when they appreciated the North East. I will be there with the Speed Triple and I should be either +1 or maybe +2 if I can get my old boss to commit.
I just booked a room and they are running low. I couldnt get exactly what I wanted because they were sold out so hurry if you are looking to stay in Paradise!

camping options?

LOL, I just realized I live less than 2 hrs. away from Bennington. I've only lived in NY since last spring, previously from NC. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how I could make it to the bash considering I'm sorta broke and can't get off work Sat. I'll just call in sick and try to find a place to camp out. Anyone have any thoughts on camping options? I'd love to meet some fellow Triumph brethern as I've been forced to talk to myself about my bike lately. Hope to see ya'll there.

I'm camping about 30 miles from bennington in me mates back yard cos it's free and I have a good tent .
I'm thinking of leading a ride saturday morning early for hardy riders that want to do an all day looooong ride . I have a nice route worked out that will take us all the way to the top of VT and back down via a different route. The emphasis is on riding and not a lot of stopping so if enough people want to indulge in a ride like that I'm up for it. figure 500 - 600 backroad miles

Rides

I have two rides planned the one I am leading is about 275 miles and takes you on 3 of Vermont GAPS. Great mountain roads, lots of corners, great scenery and changes in elevation.
