I just posted this on the Rides and Events forum for those interested in the Bennington Gathering of Triumphs, May 30 to June 1, 2008.

Here's the deal with Paradise Inn, just a short walk to downtown. I'll be reserving rooms for the group rate on my credit card. As each calls to reserve their own room, mention my online name "Whisperinsmith". But don't do it yet as I haven't got in contact with the person from the Inn.

Here is my question. What dates should I reserve? I know guys will be riding in early and some leaving later, so should I book May 29 - June 2? Or May 30 - June 1st and let individuals extend their stay on their own?

I'll have a clearer idea after I speak to Ray from the Inn. It's Vermont and he's pretty laid back, but he did tell me to book early as the two colleges in Bennington have their graduation at that time and the Inn fills quickly.

I'll be in touch as soon as I know more, but think about the dates and get back to me with ideas. Thanks.

Reschedule? Are you kidding? I think those graduation ceremonies need a little pick-me-up and Triumph pipes are just the thing.

Seriously, we won't be near them, but we should book rooms early. And I'll try to find out their dates just for info.

W I am riding in on the 30th and rolling out on the 1st so I have plans to stay friday and saturday and leave sunday after breakfast.
