Give me 2 days notice, and I'm there. Maybe not on two wheels, but I don't want to miss the festivities.
Hey, I entered the dragon's lair with Boozefighter at Zelmo's in Joliet... I can thrive anywhere!
I mean it!

Great idea, count me in. I've been through Bennington twice this year, once having the opportunity to enjoy a kickin' espresso and tasty baked goods at the Cafe, and have yet to meet the mysterious Bonniegirl.
Will travel for good coffee and better company.

mistermellow001: Swing by on your way out there and I'll tag along. Or, if you're taking a more northern route maybe we can meet up in route. My sister and her family live in Chicago and I'm sure she'd put us up going out and coming back. This sounds fun! Man I hope Bonniegirl isn't PO'd about us making tentative plans without her input! Could be thin ice here gentlemen.
tba-golfer: Put a Triumph or National Cycle windscreen on your Bonnie and you'd make it fine I would think. Go for it!

lol...i left early yesterday to go ride around, took a few pictures of autumn bennington hot spots for lovel since he didn't make it this far north on his ride. no computer at home so this is the first that i've heard of the plan. my smith is right, i'm cool with it. i'll need to find out from my little riding group when our spring trip south is happening so there isn't a conflict. and memorial day weekend is just too busy here. funny...i got in a bit of trouble with the town management last june for organizing a little bike rally. the hells angels showed up and sold t shirts next to some churdh ladies selling popcorn. they were very well behaved.

mid june will definately ba warmer, especially for our southern friends. i'm not sure how they'd take 35 degree mornings.
tba, you HAVE to bring a bike. what will you do? sit and drink espresso shots while we ride.

Commitment
OK, I'm in. Just give me advance notice so I can block out time for it. If there's anything I can do out here, let me know. I could bring cinnamon rolls.
Ooobaby, good plan - We can start talking when it begins to take shape.

Bonniegirl, Sun-Drop is a carbonated drink, like a mello yello, only it tastes good. A big shot of caffeine and sugar to get you going. And a great mixer for the distilled adult beverages.
Anyone that can't ride their bike is welcome on mine with me. Limit 1.
This is gonna be too much big dirty fun. I have been kicked out of everywhere else, but if the hells angels dont get kicked out of bennington, maybe ive got a chance.
