Just to let you know, this could grow into something really special. I've been getting emails from Triumph riders wanting to know more about this.

If you know Triumph riders that do not visit this site, let 'em know. But please stress their behaviour should reflect positively for all Triumph riders. This shouldn't be thought of as a 'hooligan' event.

Hey, you guys know what I mean with belaboring it. Once again, think our own "Triumph Rider's Woodstock".

A Hooligan Event?

I never thought of it that way. I am a Hooligan on my Triumph Speed Triple but I do behave when I need to. I do look forward into showing folks some great twisty roads at different altitudes with real beautiful scenery.

And for the faster folks we do have faster paced tours as well. Our local VT RAT pack has some pretty talented and experienced riders.

All said and done it should be a great gathering of different types of folks and different types of riding styles. I am really looking forward into meeting everyone.

Cheers!

I've seen him on that Triple too... and kept up with him on my Bonneville... and that's why I WON'T be buying a Triple anytime soon. I wouldn't be able to control my right wrist, I would turn into a hooligan, and I would lose my license very quickly!

Seriously though, we've got enough people in our RAT pack who know lots of great roads that we'll be able to set up a number of rides for different riding styles. And we can also put together a booklet of suggested rides for those who prefer to do their own thing.

Hi everyone!
Whisperinsmith gave me the heads up about this event...Way cool, count me in. I'm always looking for opportunities for My Pretty Bonnie to meet and play with her own kind.....

ok. you've piqued my interest, although i don't know if my body would be up for the ride of 2500 miles one way (mrmellow, more power to you). my question would be is there anyway to find a trumpet rental in the NE? i do spend quite a bit of time in DC and could get up from there or the NY area, but will feel awfully left out manning the coffee shop while the rest of you ride. Thoughts?

If anyone is coming through Omaha on the way out or way back, you're welcome to crash at my place. It's nothing fancy but I have two extra beds, a couch, a cot and a recliner. Only one stipulation, well two, no smoking indoors and no molesting my dog.

Also, my sister and her family live in Chicago and I can see if she'd be willing to put us up on our way through. I'm pretty sure she'd be ok with it, but I'll have to ask, if any of you are interested.

Room for a Brit??

I'm in.

Does anyone know who rents Triumphs in Boston, MA? That's only 170 miles after all?

(or anywhere else in the NE that's a straightforward plane ride from the UK)

WOW!!! This is unbelievable! Now we have someone flying (as opposed to swimming) across the pond to attend this shindig. This is starting to become surreal.
