A group of us are leaving from North Dallas on Thursday to attend the STN Meet in Eureka Springs Arkansas. I was just wondering if there were any Triumph guys heading that way? I will have a big ride report and plenty of pictures when we return.

I'll be there Friday night with VR6, and going to meet some friends Sat morning in Ponca for a little romp through the Ozarks.

Eureka is just about an hour from me so won't be staying at the hotel.

Eureka Springs is less than an hour from me as well, but wasn't aware that this was taking place.

Yellow RS two up. Dirty hiviz yellow aerostich on me. White helmets on both of us. No lolly gagging in the curves.
Possible maybes in my group are VR6 on his red V11, woman on a blue busa, and Shaunlee's new black S3.

I wonder if Eureka Springs is a little gun shy about motorcycle riders in general these days, patched riders or not.

Why? Because the Bandidos and Hells Angels mixed it up a bit there? No, Eureka is a tourist town, pure and simple; it knows that bikers are an important income source.

I was there Sunday and other than incredibly mediocre service at Cathouse, didn't have any issues. As usual, strong bike turnout.

I didn't see any trouble, but I also didn't see any 1%ers; then again, I'm sure those guys were busy with other stuff Sunday morning and didn't have time to come over and see us AMA dorks on our shiny rides.

I'd come over this weekend, but I'm having a party to watch my beloved Razorbacks lose to the Wildcats. That means I have to go buy meat and booze Saturday morning and don't have time to take the ride. A real shame, too, because my bike loves that ride.

But, I'm not a sport tourer, so I'd probably be the odd wheel out.

Should have went Saturday 479 Thrux VR6 rode his Bonnie, great day to ride and the Hogs lost. We are going to do it again Sunday early Pancake House at 8:00.

That invite goes out to Shawn and Yurfurnneral too.

I came home with a sprint covered in bugs, Metzelers scrubbed all the way to the sidewalls, and a sunburn on my face.
I didn't come home with any performance awards from the Arkansas State Police.

I saw a silver Trophy on a trailer, though. That bothered me.
