We're on again!
Thursday, Oct. 11
Ton Up Club NorCal is hosting a vintage bike night here in ol' San Jose.
This isn't a formal thing (because we're not meeting about meetings). This isn't a Harley thing (you folks have plenty of things to do). This isn't for crotch-rocketing squid boys (too much plastic, too many cylinders). Now don't get offended because you have a Beemer with GPS or some raked-out chopper with goldleaf. We're just carving out our little niche. No arguments, still friends.
This is for the Brit/Euro/Japanese vintage bikes and cafe racers. The cutoff for bikes is pre-'80. New Bonnies, Enfields, or Duc Sport Classics are welcome (so long as you don't have panniers and a king/queen seat on it). But if you have some vintage iron lurking in your garage, bring it out.
If you like clubmans, rearsets, Esso, clipons, cracking the ton, Lewis Leathers, pudding basins, Hailwood, Gene Vincent, Isle of Man, an imperial pint, Ace Cafe, the Busy Bee, and everything Rocker, then come on out. (If you haven't a clue what any of those things are, come out and buy the rest of us a pint.)
Second Thursday of the month at:
