Hey, I'm trying to get a ride together for the 23rd, anyone interested start piping in. I'm new to the area (Coral Springs/Ft Lauderdale) but am willing to ride almost anywhere.(within reason, I ended up in Key Largo when I was out on Saturday) My "local" dealer doesn't have a RAT set up yet, they're talking about it, but I would like to get a bunch of us together for a ride and lunch. We can meet up somewhere central to everyone get a bite and go for a ride from there. Let me know.

OK, There's got to be some triumph riders around south florida, common guys and girls don't let me down!! I may have to ride with a bunch of jap bikes and they've got no culture!!

Wish I could help you. Our RAT is up in Tampa Bay area.

Pure Triumph doesn't have a RAT group????

Why not ask your dealer if you can post a sign in his showroom about forming a RAT. Our local let us make put up a sign and I post ride news each month. All it takes is a couple of riders to get things going the word will spread.

I'll ask at PT, I'm sure they'll let me set something up, I think they had something and it went to crap due to lack of involvement or their meeting place closed or something, my only issue is that I don't want to become "The Man" for the local RATs. I don't mind being involved but my job really limits what, when, and how much time I can devote. I was hoping to try and get some of the local Triumph celebs together for a little chow and a run somewhere. The funny thing is I don't know the first place to ride to with interesting roads or places to eat, that was the other reason, get other peoples ideas of good ride spots and grub stops. Ratgirl, I'm counting you in and will be picking your brains for routes and good/bad roads - good/bad chow. Stay tuned!

No problem! Jeff @ PT tried to get me to organize RAT...no time for that much involvement, but...the times might be a changing!

I'm going for a ride tomorrow, I'm up in CS/ Margate so I'll head down the Sawgrass out east on 75 take 27 north to Lake Okeechobee go back out east on 80/441 to 700 then south on the A1A and have a leisurely ride down the beach road until I'm back in the Margate / Pompano Beach area will end up with lunch at ART's BBQ. If you want to go send me a PM or post here. I'll check in the morning when I get up. If we're gonna meet up somewhere we'll figure it out/ the plan is flexible. I'd like to take off around 10. I'll be up around 7-ish.

change in plans, going to meet up with CAPTDON up in Stuart, he said he's got a really nice ride. so I'm going to meet up with him and check it out. If anyone wants to go, let me know
