NNESTOC III '07
Northern New England ST-Owners
September 6-9, 2007
Kancamagus Motor Lodge
Lincoln, New Hampshire
I will continue to update this first post as things develop to keep it all in one place and easy to find
Some News for ’07:
• The event has been extended to four days for more riding, and pulled back on the calendar by 3 weeks to offer slightly milder conditions and longer days (more riding!).
• We have changed the format, there will not be predetermined groups and leaders so folks can make their own small groups, and spend their time here riding where they want, when they want, and how they want. A great deal of local route and attraction info is provided on grouprider.com, in the
NNESTOC "group". The grouprider site does require a simple registration, well worth it if you have yet to check it out.
• The new venue for this years event offers more in house amenities than have been available in previous years. Those who might seek to have a more rounded vacation experience may do so, and it’s very child friendly as well. They have even agreed to install cave man TV just for us!

***If you’re riding solo please plan to split a room with two beds and save the singles for the couples… I expect that we’ll need all the capacity we can get.
Meals:
Saturday, Sept 8 “Group Dinner” is in the works.... should have it nailed down by the end of July.
There is a
“meal plan” that includes your choice of any items on the menu for breakfast & Dinner, for a flat rate of $30 per person/day, which looks to me like a pretty decent deal - the lodge eatery is very, very good. There are also several eateries in the area worth investigating… fielders’ choice. I like riding to breakfast…
In addition to the amenities listed on their web site, they will be making some special provisions for our group including a specially installed cave man TV; and a bike cleaning stations set up complete with hoses, rags & kick stand rests (Leo and Nicole ride too...)
Camping:
For those who would like a more wholesome Northern New England experience, there is a White Mtn. camp ground just a few miles east of town on rte 112 along the river, it's a great spot. If your thinking about this option, be prepared to stay warm. I looked at weather.com today to get "average" temps for that time of year, and the information they had was very optimistic IMO. Average lows in the mid 40's? Maybe... but be prepared for the possibility of evening lows in the 20's & 30's too... welcome to the Whites!
Stuff:
Dave has some things up his sleeve for prizes, and a promo package for area business that folks can make use of, I'll get that info up here in detail as it develops. With some luck we'll also have a pile of NewEnough gift certs again this year.
Thanks to all the great folks who have attended, the last two years have kicked butt... and those were just practice... this round is going to a new level and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with everyone! Rubber down, see yoy in September!
