Okay,...It's time to get ready for the 5th Annual Cambria Run. You may have read about this event in Rider magazine. This is a gathering of Bonnevilles from all over the west coast for a weekend of fun and all things Bonneville. California Triumph is a major sponsor for this event and we are encouraging all of our RAT members with Bonnevilles to attend this event. Kari Prager will be there to represent the shop and fly the colors!
This event is organized by Brian Odom and the NorCal Presidents (a loose affiliation of Bonneville owners from northern California)

This event has grown every year and past events have seen various celebrities from the motorcycling world in attendance, but nothing like this year! Clement Salvadori will be in attendance from Rider Magazine once again to document the fun and Dave Edwards from Cycle World hopes to attend as well. For you movie fans of the series "On Any Sunday", Jimmy Odom (Cast member of “On Any Sunday”, Factory Triumph Rider 1966-70, National #18)and none other than Bruce Brown, producer of the series, will be attending with photos to sign and movie clips of Jimmy’s 2005 Bonneville world land speed record run. Another legend in the fold will #59 (The Flying Dutchman) Triumph's own favorite TT rider, Skip Van Leeuwen. Skip will also be bringing photos to sign and stories to swap of the good ol’ days.

Friday Aug. 3rd: Arrive in Cambria, say hello to everyone
Saturday Aug 4th: Meet at the Palms
9:30am to 3:30pm “Heritage Run” Ride meets and ends at the Palms Hotel. A lunch stop is planned
4:00 pm Get together for pictures and a BBQ dinner, followed by a charity raffle and the “Bark-Off”
Sunday Aug 5th: Say goodbye and leave for home!
As an added bonus, California Triumph will be donating a “Romero” riding jacket that will be the grand prize in the raffle. Not only will some lucky winner get the Romero Jacket, it will be signed by the legend himself,......but wait there's more,......Gene Romero will be presenting this jacket himself personally to the lucky winner there on the spot! Imagine you very own autographed “Romero” jacket.

What about the hotel?
At this point the Palms is sold out but the hotel behind the Palms, The Cambria Creekside Inn,

is taking the over flow. . Please book your room as soon as possible as the hotel books up early in the summer months.
(NOTE: I called on 7/12/07 and they were full but I found a room just 3 miles away)
This is sure to be an event our Bonneville RAT members won’t want to miss, be sure and sign up and look for Kari at the event!
