3 Days of great racing (AHRMA), swap meet, and more! Triumph's Demo Truck is scheduled to be there w/demo bikes to test and drool over. Expect -- but no promises -- to see the new Street Triple 675!

Anyone interested in volunteering for a shift or two? Check out http:\\www.barbermuseum.org for more info. It's fun, doesn't take all your time, and has some great benefits! No, you don't have to live near the track to volunteer, but you must be available to work your shift!

I really hope to make it down there...My mom and brother live about 15 miles from the track near Springville...If I can just get the time off from work.

Nope. :\

Just caught the Demo truck in Seattle last weekend. No Street Triple, only the 07 models.

They had 1 or 2 daytonas, and 2 or 3 Speed Triples though.

I had a great time throwing a Thruxton aroud myself. . .man those things are little!

I've heard from some very reliable sources that there will most definitely be "an interesting bike or two" debuted at Barber's Vintage Days. Knowing the source, I'm still betting we'll see one (or maybe all??) of the new bikes. Remember, BVD is AFTER the dealers' meeting!

I don't think I can make the Texas Raid this year (but boy, do I want to!!) I am planning a long'ish trip in October -- maybe before BVD -- out to OK, up to KS, back through MO, down through AR, over to TN, and back down to sweet home AL! Probably take week or so off and do it.

VR6 -- I'll keep you posted. Not sure yet where all my travels will take me, but that's a general outline. I'd be honored for you Arkansas Travelers to run me into the ground!

I went last year. Rode over with several RAT guys from Atlanta. It was the
first time I had been to Barber. That is a very impressive facility. I hope to
make it again this year, if work doesn't get in the way.
