25th British in the Blue Ridge Rally - June 11-13
Come down to Hiawassee, GA for the 25th annual British in the Blue Ridge Rally, June 11-13. Full details on GABMA.
While you're there, down load the free March 2010 newsletter and read all about the FREE 2005 Triumph T100 we'll be giving away as our "Rally Bike".
If it was made in Britain, you'll find it at this rally !!

I was just talking to some friends about this event. Looks like a great time and a great price.

Not only that....
Not only is the Rally a great week of "family friendly" events, but it's nestled right smack in the middle of some of the best roads the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. You'll also be only 20 to 45 minutes from the "Tail of the Dragon", "TWO", Wolf Pen Gap, "Richard B Russell Scenic Hwy" and other great riding destinations.
Besides your own rides to explore the local area, we'll have informal self-guided ride maps available, and organized group rides, poker runs, etc.

Wonder if the Dragon will be open in time, but as you point out, there are great roads right in the vicinity there too. Some possibly even better?
This has always been one of the top Brit Bike events in the Southeast. See you guys there!

That fits in nicely with a trip I have been wanting to take for a long time - down through the Ozarks, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I could leave the Saturday before and take almost a week to meander down to Hiawassee, then probably wimp out and take 2 days to cover the 800-900 miles back to KC. Or, swing a little further south and go for a SaddleSore return trip.

I've attended the GABMA meet the last two years in a row, and it's a good time. It's right near Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest point, and going there is a good ride. Can't go wrong!

This post is from last year when mudslides had it closed.
