Ah, I've not done this on here before as it seemed so internationally dispersed. But what the heck.

I play in a band and we did a bike bash the other night (which I put on the local bike forum) and everyone enjoyed it. So I figured, what the heck:

HellHound blues and rock 3 piece at the Harlequin, near t'Wicker, Jan 2nd 2010 at 9pm.

Covers and originals based on late 60s early 70s - taseful blues (not the poor worn cliches) and rocking out rock. See some at:

thanks for the message. I would imagine your idea will certainly appeal to a particular sector of the biking community - not that it is ever exclusive - but I'm thinking riders of cruisers, roadsters and traditional forms of bike with an element of Americana.

Depending on your facilities, either a lunch or evening meal with live music either before or after the meal could take off.

I suggest live music at a different time for practical reasons. You don't get served chicken in a basket while you watch Metallica - that is cabaret and I don't know many bikers into that, even though there's plenty of blues and country fans.

Speaking of which I also have a blues/60s pop band with vocal harmonies who would suit as much if not more than HellHound.

It sounds like a good idea. Actually, i don't know if I have time any more, but I used to organise a bike-run tiger fundraiser in Derbyshire. That could have useda venue...
