i just posted this in the tbird section before i realized there was a section for trips....so no one yell at me for double posting..first time error.

any way a few of us are riding around lake okeechobee, starting from the south side on sat nov 14 if anyone would like to join.

Hey Darren - late response but I'm still figuring out all the great links to check for info on this site. I'm up in the Melbourne area and don't know many good Florida riding roads yet - just got a Sprint about a month ago and always looking for new areas to ride. How'd the Lake ride turnout? Is it just Thunderbird riders?

glad to have a local friend. the ride around the lake was great but we only got about 1/3 of the way and had to turn around. i was the only triumph rider. we are going up to daytona for bikers week in march. that will be the next big trip. we do local trips around here like the keys or naples since no mountains or valleys to cruise through.
