Illinois triumph riders and clubs

Hey guys looking for other triumph owners out there old and new.
Looking to get all you guys and gals out there with cafe, british, or any other ride of the sort. Would like to start a meet up to show off the rides and get to know other riders. Never started something like this before but I've never been afraid to try either. I'm in the western subs of Chicago or Kane county. So ad to the thread show your ride and your face and lets get this going.

I saw "Illinois" in the title and had to look... we're a little
south of you guys... about 5-6 hours, Belleville IL area.

The good riding is another 2 hours away, on the southeast Missouri backroads. Not a decent twisty road anywhere around here that I'm aware of... but we have awesome track days at Gateway International!

Cheers,

D9

Yea thats a good 4-5 hours away!!! Your right, there are some nice roads out that way. As well as some fishing. Any way nice bikes, hoping to get the old lady and myself on the track soon.

So tell me whats the top speed ya gettin. Stock?

Safe Riding!

LR... nice lookin' bike - are those Mototwin pipes?
Top speed... maybe 105 or so... don't spend much time
up there... always looking for and enjoying good twisty roads.
Unstock odds & ends... TPUSA airbox kit... emgo pipes... rejetted...
NH rearsets... new Thruxton bars.

Blackhawk is probably closer to you, not sure who hosts track days there... MCRA puts together the track days at Gateway & they
do a helluva job!

Glad to hear someone with a Triumph near me - sort of. With no dealers in the area, I often a little out of place in the sea of HD's. I'm in the Far North West subs in McHenry County. Let me know if anything materializes.

Yea, always up for a ride, not into drinkin and riding but would love to check out the bikes.

I see a lone triumph here and there, and you couldn't be right about the sea of HD's out this way. I went to the Elburn ride on June first last year, not one triumph but the one under me.

Hey D9 you should check out Galena IL. I know thats a hike for ya but its a nice ride in that part of the state. That whole Iowa, Wis. Il. area.

My wife is friends with the new owner of Black Hawk, I guess its pretty dirty from what I hear. Still haven't made it out there yet. Looks like next summer from the way things are goin.

Well I hope there is some momentum with this thread.

Ride safe and keep in touch.

agree on the drinking and riding could be worth the trip if nothing else a reason to ride on a Monday night.

email me direct at: jamie@mayordrumsupply.com and let's see if we can ride up for a burger and check out the bikes.

Monday's are pretty tough, so I doubt it. If there's another thing happening, be sure to keep me in mind.
