Will there be many Triumphs (Bonnies) @ Biketoberfest in DB?

My boss has invited me to stay at her house nearby, and this will be my first one. My T-100 is sharp enough to take the "pepsi-challenge" against any other bike, so no insecurity here, just wondered from those who've been there if there are a lot of Triumphs, or if we're in the minority.

I'd LOVE to see some vintage British steel while I'm there... Hopefully there will be some great restorations on hand...

You'll see a few classic Triumphs. Definitely in the minority, but you knew that when you bought it. The Sportbike crowd is growing fast, but HD Chops and Baggers still dominate Daytona. But don't worry; your Triumph will get more appreciative looks than the Wanna-be's from the Far East.

Be sure to check out the action at the beach AND at Destination Daytona (US1 & I95). The beach side is less restrained and Destination Daytona is more structured. Go and enjoy, you'll be back!

You'll see lots of restorations at the Concours d' Elegance at the Riding into History weekend at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine. Usually in the Spring and always worth a day trip!

I was there on Sat.

Well, I went to Ormand to the big destination Daytona where I bought my '09 Bonnie T100 (back in July and the Triumph store was gone [I was told it was bought by BMW and was in a transition period]). I was the only Triumph I saw anywhere, and I also bought everything I saw that said Triumph or had a Union Jack on it (the one patch [and it was the last one]).

Have you (or anyone eles for that matter) had any work done on your bike there? I wounder what the price/quality of the machanics are like. I know the ones up here in Orange Park are over charging idiots. $100 more, they lost bolts, and didn't replace them with OEM after I complained.

I rode over on Sunday with my riding bud on a Scram. We saw exactly one other Triumph the entire day, a Speedmaster. After walking around the track for a few hours, we returned to our bikes to find a guy taking a pic of his girlfriend kneeling down next to my Bonny. Made my day.

Breakdown of bikes:
85% Harleys
10% Japs
5% Other

Daytona will always be Harley Haven. No problem. Bonny and the Scram got plenty of attention!
