Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio 7/24-26

It's almost time for Vintage Motorcycle Days again. http://www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com/

Last year Triumph was the marque of the year and Triumph had a big display and party. BSA is the marque this year and I'm not sure what Triumph is doing, if anything. I do know that I will be there bright and early on Saturday morning, rain or shine. It is always good to see old friends and meet new ones.

Who else is planning to go?

Rich

Hey Rich...want to meet where we did last year around the food area, say noontime....My brother Dave and Mark and I are camping nearby as usual. We plan on spending all day Sat there. Any other "Packless Rats" coming? Maybe I can dig up the pictures of you and I doing the Triumph parade laps from last year....What a blast that was. Dr Jay

What is there to do? Not much for watching races, and nothing suitable for riding in it ;-) Been here 10 years, never been to this event so I have no idea what's there for the $50 admission (wife and I)..

It sounds good to me Jay. I will see you there if I don't bump into you sooner.

I think everyone who likes bikes should get there at least once. There are thousands of bikes of all ages, on display, simply parked where people rode them in, and racing.

The racing isn't just what you can see on Speed TV. There's nowhere else that you can see a 1950's Manx actually racing. The sound of all those old engines starting is fantastic.

Sounds like a plan Rich...I just ordered my Sat tickets from midohio.com....As to why we go, well, like Rich said, there's no other place to see this many bikes of all ages, here them start and run, hang out with Triumph friends, spend a beautiful day outside, see vintage bikes, eat, drink and be merry!!!! Worth every penny IMHO.....P.S. I wonder if Triumph will have a bike corral?
