Fall – Rocket Launch – Maggie Valley, NC

Enjoy the company of fellow Rocket Captains, great food and ride some of the most scenic and challenging motorcycle roads in the country.

When: September 25th – 28th
Where: Maggie Valley, NC

Group Accommodation for lodging and food has been arranged should you choose to take advantage. This is not a requirement to participate in the event attendee’s may choose to make their own arrangements for lodging and food. This is a Non-Profit Event

There will be a group ride departing daily @ 9:00am, These rides will be approx. 175 miles in length with plenty of scenic stops Rides will return approx 6:00pm and a Party venue will be provided each evening. We will be riding some of the more well known roads in the area as well as many others. (The Dragon, Hellbender, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway

I'm in. I've been looking at doing those rides.

Mark one down coming from Phoenix. Rider coming from the further distance gets free drinks, right?

Fall - Rocket Launch - Update

25 people confirmed so far looks like about 15 Rockets. if you need to have your name added or status changed please let me know so I can maintain an accurate headcount....

As of today there are 13 rooms left. I will have to release the hold on the rooms towards the 1st of Sept. if you haven't booked and plan on attending please get your reservations in ASAP.

It is less than a month to the fall rocket launch. we have over 20 rockets and over 30 attendees confirmed so far. There are 10 Rooms left currently on hold for the event. I will have to release the hold somewhere around the first of september. So if you have not already booked and plan to attend please do so ASAP. If you have friends that want to come and enjoy the event also please invite them. If we book the 10 remaining rooms we will have the place to ourself. Sorry eagleshadow for the delay. When you made the post I was already in route to maggie valley we had very limited access to internet while there and things were quite busy. I will make sure when and if we plan another event to sent you a PM. We will be putting together an event DVD over the next couple of week and would be happy to sent you one (No cost of course) just pm me your mailing address. Sorry again for not getting back with you sooner.
