Just a note...this is nowhere near Milwaukee...its on the other side of the state. From the BBC website... "The BBC Rally location is 60 miles due west of Madison, Wisconsin near the Wisconsin River and features many area attractions including rides along the majestic Mississippi River, Frank Lloyd Wright's Spring Green, and The House on the Rock."

This is my neck of the woods and I am planning on attending at least two days of this...maybe we'll bump into one another.

Other Motorcycle: Wife's 2009 Bonnie Black
I'm thinking about riding down for the day Saturday. Not to be a cheapskate, but would I get to wander around and check out the bikes without paying the $50 registration fee? It's probably worth the ride either way if the weather's good, but just wondering what the $50 is necessary for.

If anyone goes down there, I drove through Blue River this spring on 133 in my car. I passed a fence line that looked like it was lined with old motorcycle carcasses. I wanted to stop, but I had passengers who made that not possible, so it's on my list to get back down there. But if anyone gets the story on that fence line, or maybe even takes some pics, please share that here!

I emailed the organizer the other day regarding that issue. I will be out of town on Saturday but was thinking of riding up Friday to check out the bikes, vendors, etc. I was told it was $50 regardless...even if you're not camping, or going on the Saturday ride, and apparently even if you just want to look around. I guess I'll wait till next year. Bummer.

I attended the BBC rally for the first time and I will assure you that it is well worth the $50.00 that I paid at the door. Two days camping, a Friday night meal and a 50/50 ticket that was good for a tee shirt.....and as much beer as you could drink if you wanted....and two bands on two nights!!! It was well organized and the poker run was a blast. Some sweet British Iron at the show and just a delight to be around like-minded bikers. The Club members do all the work and that allows everyone else the opportunity to socialize and ride.I will be there next year,Lord willing and ,and gladly pay the entrance fee.Bonnie and Clyde got a prize for coming the farthest and were an inspiration to all the riders.

Bbc 2009

It was amazing, Clyde and I were first timers as well, as some of you already know. It was wonderful meeting everyone, people who enjoy making their own way also....or as someone else put it "like minded riders". I love hearing the stories.

Anyway, I wanted to update....I am home with my family in Iowa loving every minute of crazy kids and animals running around

I will leave for Sturgis when I get the itch and return the same.
After that I will head back to get a re fill of love from the family just before I head back to NM.

Can't wait for the ride!

I can't wait to see everyone I had the honor to meet this year you guys all ROCK!!

Peace out
