NYC to Virginia on my Bonnie Beach Video

My wife and I just got back from Virginia beach we rode down there from NYC a total of
800 miles. We also stopped over at Colonial Williamsburg.
This is the longest trip I've made so far with my 2001 Bonneville. I was a little
worried about the bike cause 2 years ago we rode to Maine from NYC and the spoke on my rear tire came off and a blew a tire plus a had other issues with the bike. This time I had the bike carefully looked at by my mechanic before leaving. The ride was great although
we ran into a storm which got worse near the Chesapeake bay bridge of all places. I've always wanted to cross this bridge on my bike. It's known as one of the seven engineering wonders of the modern world. We took the two different routes to go and come back from VA. Although it took longer we like the route via the cape may-lewis ferry it gave us time to rest a little. The ride took about 12hrs from NY to VA via the ferry and 9hrs through the NJ turnpike. I came back completely destroyed. I'll be visiting my 76 years old Chiropractors who's in better shape than I am this week. Anyway the ride was great the scenery
was spectacular and we met a lot of nice people along the way. As usual we created a little travel video.

enjoy!

-kaj

What a fantastic video! Glad you had such a nice trip.
The ride to VA Beach south on US 13 and across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is one of our favorite journeys with a great destination.
Thanks again for sharing!

Riding through farm land and endless corn fields was great. I hope to do it again.
